Steve is an experienced, respected and creative professional with an exceptional track record in cinematography spanning seven continents. He has demonstrated his adaptability throughout his career, delivering in documentary, feature film, drama and reality in both single camera and Director of Photography capacities.
Steve has worked in Australia, the UK and the US as well as locations worldwide. His exemplary skills are acknowledged by his long-standing and repeat relationships with a number of clients and his reputation for creativity is evident throughout his work. In addition he has successfully recruited and led a number of teams in his capacity of Director of Photography and prides himself on creating a crew, which can effectively deliver to a desired style whilst remaining on budget.
Furthermore, Steve is a partner in a fully CASA licensed UAV Operations business ProAIRvision.
Key Career Achievements:
Successfully project managed a $13m tender process for the acquisition of new HD equipment for ABC. This included running a committee of four and adhering to the highly legislative guidelines whilst managing to achieve full marks in a Deloitte audit.
Worked as both Director of Photography and lead actor in the 2011 award winning feature film ‘The Tunnel’ produced by Distracted Media.

Steve has successfully completed a number of multicamera Director of Photography projects spanning a diverse range of genres. In each he has liaised closely with Series Producers and Directors to offer his creative input and develop the required style, on occasions recruit and manage teams of up to 12 crew and resolve all technical issues to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget.
